1. Make the whipped cream: Add the heavy whipping cream and sugar to a bowl. Blend until you have a thick, fluffy whipped cream that holds its shape.
2. Prepare the fruit: Wash and dry your fruit. Cut the strawberries in half and slice any other fruit into pieces that will fit neatly inside the sandwich.
3. Prepare the bread: Slice the bread and carefully cut off the crusts.
4. Assemble the sandos: Spread a generous layer of whipped cream onto one slice of bread. Arrange the strawberries and other fruit on top in a pattern, keeping in mind where you’ll cut the sandwich so the fruit looks pretty in the center.
5. Add more whipped cream: Cover the fruit completely with another generous layer of whipped cream, making sure to fill in the spaces between the fruit.
6. Wrap and chill: Place the second slice of bread on top. Wrap the sandwich tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
7. Slice and serve: Remove from the fridge and carefully cut the sandwich diagonally, directly through the center of the strawberries so the fruit pattern is visible. Serve immediately and enjoy!
